Universal Poplabが活動休止を発表
スウェーデンのシンセポップトリオUniversal Poplabが、来月5日のヨーテボリ(Göteborg)でのライブをもって一旦充電期間に入るとのこと。
以下、所属レーベルWonderland RecordsからFacebook経由で送られたメッセージ(一部)をGoogleのTranslatorを基に翻訳したもの（スウェーデン語→英語）です。
Hello everyone wondering why it was so quiet at us the last time! The band has decided to take a break 2011th It does NOT mean that we have to, but to be able to do an album that is better than Uprising and Seed, we need fresh air and inspiration.
More official information about this will come later. Universal Poplab will do a gig in years. Sticky Fingers / Gothenburg February 5 I hope that as many people as possible have the desire to come!
2008年リリースの3rdアルバム"Seeds"以降、目立ったリリースも無く…と思いきや、DVD作品"Strings Attached and More"がいつの間にか出ていました。
ヨーテボリ交響楽団との共演ライブ＋インタビュー＋PV集などなど、デビューからこれまでの活動を集約したような内容となっている模様。

シンセポップでここまで飛び切り元気で快活！否が応でもポジティブ！な感じのバンドってあんまし居ないよなー(知らないだけか)。名は体を表すと言うか何と言うか。そんな所が大好きです。
